Teammart is the first chain of markets in Iraq and Kurdistan. It is a local project, headquartered in Erbil, the Kurdistan region of Iraq, as the safer area in Iraq and the central region of trading and international consulates, thus guaranteeing financial insurance for contracting companies.

Teammart has recently 90 market branches only in Erbil and in the same province plans to reach 150 markets, But Erbil represents only 5% of the share of the Iraqi market, and accordingly Temmart plans to open hundreds of branches of their chain markets in other provinces in the next ten years across Iraq.

Reducing the number of brands will decrease the number of companies that are Teammart strategies, and by reducing the number of companies will be a reason to focus and enhance the readiness of branches, and by that Teammart will be able to increase the number of branches and control easily with them.

The area of branches ranges between 200 to 1500 square meters, and thus will provide space for each specific category, especially in small markets. it is better to give one category to one company without a competitive brand of the same quality and strength of the brand, because following this plan can give an integrated face to the item and it will assist the logistic department to send all the items by boxes from the largest to the smallest branches.
